Give a child a...

A wig and some winter gloves...and she can transform herself into a darling rocker.

A book...and he can adventure with a family through history. Alex finished reading Jack Cavanaugh's 8 book historical series before me. Young man, you amaze me.

A berry smoothie...and she can look like she is always grinning.

A berry smoothie...and she can look like she applied her makeup in the dark.

A waffle and a glass of milk...and he says when he gets older he wants to marry someone like me. Dear Fritz, you make me feel special.

Quirky Picks

Here are some quirky (somewhat dark) movies that I found entertaining. The highly saturated cinematography, bizarre story lines, and the artistic sets make memorable and fun watching.

Ben and I watched both season 1 & 2 of Pushing Daisies. Don't watch when you are hungry or you may find you eat your TV, because the pies they make look super delicious.

You can tell we had been watching a lot of episodes when we took the last 3 apples out of the fridge and made an apple pie one night. We were out of cheddar cheese or else we would have shredded some on top.

Moo a little longer- eat mor chikin

A twenty dollar meal for free. Loving cow appreciation day. Thanks Chick-fil-a!

Alex had a cow on his nose, Fritz had a star, and the 3 girls had hearts. We were grooving and mooing with liquid eyeliner.

New York Fashion Week

I met these incomparable sisters at New York Fashion Week.

Jane is in Oscar de La Flora. The couture millinery is lampshade.

The heels are borrowed from the collection of her generous mum.

Emily is sporting a Cruella Deville limited edition. The designer stated that no animals were harmed in the design- faux fur was used at the cuff. The sunglasses are Gucci. The tiara is Mikimoto. The Italian glass shoes are so invisible they are called Barefoot Contessa.
