Irresistible froth
As I look at the bubbles framing the sweetest faces, my pessimism realizes the bubbles will pop. My optimism savors their transient beauty as they blanket my girls in opalescent foam. Then my mind starts to envision how life could be lived in a bubble bath. Just think, the anger, disappointment, sorrow and grime could be washed down the drain with the flick of a stopper. But why then do I find myself soaking in filthy water, temper rising as the water goes tepid and the stopper seems perpetually stuck? But then I realize the drain is linked with this supernatural verse: If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. As I recite the promise, I can hear the gurgle and slurp of the nasty water draining. Christ is like those beautiful bubbles; he has no imperfection. He washes me clean and his forgiveness blankets me in something ethereal and everlasting. How cool is that. That is the irresistible froth of the gospel which appears delicate and unsustainable to those still perishing; but for those who have been immersed, we know that those bubbles are unpoppable steel which encircle us in eternal security.

The Adventures of Dear Muley
We had an unexpected visitor that stowed away in the back of the pickup.
Checking if the coast is clear.
Emily challenges him to a staring contest. Muley won hands down.
Foraging in the refrigerator for supper.
Now Muley is checking to see what is cooking.
Privacy please.
His first hot shower.
Exhausted he flops into Alex's bed. He is so well mannered; I think we are going to keep him.
