Happy Cows

Today the above photo was posted on our local Chick-fil-A Facebook page. Someone commented, "Too cute! The older calf had to keep holding his ear back to keep it out of his ice cream. This was my favorite group."

Even the patriarch taped two spots to his business shirt and donned a cow headband.

Our family of six ate free lunch at Chick-fil-A for Cow Appreciation Day. We looked truly cowy. On our entrance we were greeted with a cacophony of cow bells. The franchise owners said we were their biggest herd yet.

I found out tonight that Chick-fil-A Facebook posted this 2010 photo yesterday to remind people to dress up like a cow today. In a year's time, our hides have darkened. Wonders never cease.

how sweet! I thought of ya'll today as we went to our local chick-fil-A too. Too funny that you got Ben to dress up and how neat that you were able to capture you family tradition on camera again.

Thanks for your sweet comments on my post! It was ALWAYS a pleasure having the Brown gang over. (I miss those days...) I, too remember that spaghetti dinner. M. still talks about his fears that C. would not like his sauce! (She's here in CLW...and hopefully will be coming over soon.)I had forgotten about that cake...probably a good thing since I don't need those calories.
One of these days, I hope to meet your little (?) family.
Hugs,
J
